Why get a Florida CHL?

As licensed Texas CHL instructors, we feel that obtaining a Florida non-resident CHL is a much better value than a Texas CHL. Why? First, you DO NOT need to be a Florida resident. Any qualified Texas resident can apply for and receive a Florida non-resident CHL. The Florida license is honored in Texas and 29 other states.

The primary advantage is the shorter training time required. A Floridanon-resident CHL requires only 5 hours of classroom training and no written test. The license is good for 7 years with no class needed to renew. Our class includes all the necessary classroom instruction, application packet, completion certificate, passport photographs and document notary.
